About Sra. Eberhart¡Hola y bienvenidos!
I grew up in a bi-cultural household in Georgetown, Texas, with Mexican roots on my father's side of the family. After high school, I attended Schreiner University for two years before transferring to Texas A&M University. When I was at A&M, I changed my major to Spanish with a minor in English, and my foreign language journey was in full swing. Upon graduation, I spent a summer in Argentina with a family who lived right outside of Buenos Aires to experience Latin American culture in its fullest form. When I returned, I started my career path, but was never completely fulfilled in corporate America. After several years, I left the working world and sought to start a family. When my son was 3, I decided to head back to work and thus began the process of obtaining my teaching certification. I was a long-term substitute teacher at RRHS in 2011, and was later offered to come aboard for the 2011-2012 school year. I am incredibly excited to be here and to be a part of your child's life and look forward to helping them learn and explore the Spanish language and Latin American culture. In the summer of 2014, I returned to Argentina to stay with the same family in order to give a series of bi-lingual presentations and to have a chance to experience language and culture in its truest sense in order to pass it on to my students. I am actively involved with the Texas A&M Hispanic Network and the Texas A&M Advocacy Network. I firmly believe in students furthering themselves through university or trade studies and will do my best to help them achieve that. |
